7. Number and Counters

7-1. Some nouns do not have an appropriate counter expression, or if any, provide difficulty even to native speakers. (e.g., つくえ、いす、とけい、かばん、まど、たてもの、びょういん、もの、こうえん、たまご).

In that event, Japanese numbers are used up to ten.

7-2. ～かげつ(=months) and か (lessons; ～th lesson) are exactly the same in terms of phonological changes.

7-3. Japanese series raw numbers and date experssions are similar.
